My father owns about 100 acres of land in Doniphan County Kansas. On this land is a graveyard with a couple of graves marked Kansas Calvary. The graves dates on the markers show 1807 and 1815. I assume these are dates of birth but I am unsure. There was a township on this land called Charles Town. The land is very close to the river. We are trying to get any info on the men, women, and children buried on this land out of respect for the dead. This summer will be spent fixing broken graves and putting a gate up around the graves. If you have any idea on how I could get any records on the decease I would greatly appreciate it.
