We had a step-great or great-great grandfather with the last name of Shetler. No first name but shows he married a caroline or carrie Youngdoff somewhere around 1895 in or around Holton, Kansas.
We have an 1850's era foot soldier's sword that was said to be his or passed on to him by a relative.
Wish we could get some info on him. Rumor has it that he moved to Houston Texas after 1895.
