I am new to this group. I have belonged to a few different Missouri Civil War discussion groups for a few years. I had ancestors near Eudora, Kansas, and in Cass County, Missouri, during the Kansas/Missouri War. For Christmas my wife bought me a copy of Paul Petersen's "Quantrill of Missouri." I finished reading it a few weeks ago, and have been posting messages about it. I have eight ancesstors buried in the Deay/Vitt cemetery just south of Eudora, and another five buried in the Reid cemetary in Cass County. I enjoy visiting these places, but at this point I live in North Carolina.
