This seems to be a good summary, given the lack of information and confusion over this event. I realize these were lawless times and places, but does anyone know if any individuals were ever held accountable for the carnage at 'Middle Boggy Depot'? I don't think it fair to indict an entire regiment for the alleged actions of 3 or 4 of it's members.
