I was wondering if you had found any more information about Hiram Swiler. I have a Bible record that mentions his name next to wife, Amanda Jane Robinson and they lived near Buffalo, Kansas.

Also, I found a long list of Civil War veterans on the Adams County, Illinois website and it mentions his address as Swiler, Hiram; #512760; 210 Spring St., Quincy, IL as of September 26, 1931. He was not listed on the September 30, 1935 listing.

So, I wonder when Hiram and Amanda went to Buffalo, Kansas???

Susan and Samuel V. Riggs moved to Iola, Allen, Kansas and are buried there. Maybe we can help each other fill in a few blanks.
