While researching at Ft Scott Historic Site this weekend, Ranger Alan Chilton and I got to discussing the above named individual who served as post AQM from Feb 62-65. They never delved into this individual. I did some brief checking and discovered the following:

He served as a PVT in CPT Lane's Frontier Guard, then was AQM for Lane's Ks Brigade until his assignment to Ft Scott.

I was wondering if anyone had any info concerning his military service throughout his ACW career. Any info provided, or I'm directed to, will be shared with Ft Scott Historic Site so they can add it to their soldier files.
