I noticed you and others have made quite a few postings in regard to Price's Raid. I just recently found out that one of my ggg grandfathers, John H. Knox, was in Davies' Arkansas Cavalry Battalion (also often referenced as a Missouri unit), of Clark's Brigade of Marmaduke's Division.

I am doing a family history book of ancestor's units and areas, and am presently working on this battalion. I have read CAastel's book on Price, and Oates' Confederate Cavalry west of the River, as well as some more general works and the December 1864 reports of Clark, Davies, and other regimental commanders of Clark's brigade.

Are there any other good books or articles on the raid I should reference.
