Found your listing on JOHNSON'S in Civil War, my G-Grandfather was George Washington JOHNSON I think he enlisted in the Hancock Co. IN area the 18, Apr.1862 his father I also think was Silas JOHNSON. Is there anyway that the George and the Silas that you have are father and son AND the one's I have been searching for??

All I have to go on is a copy of G.W. death certificate with father's name Silas JOHNSON born Indiana and mother's name Esther HENIS born Indiana.

G.W.JOHNSON b;20,Sep.1842/1844, d;12,Nov.1916 (headstone dob,1842, death certificate says 1844.)

I know this is a long short but...
