Hello,
I was wandering if anyone out there had any pictures, descriptions, or stories of Indiana Soldiers that died during the Civil War that you would be willing to share. I am currently working on a book and trying to document every Indiana Soldier killed, where he died, when he died, how he died and where he is buried. As you might have guessed this is a huge task. Basically, I am looking for descriptions of how soldiers died, burial places, and illustrations for the book. I have taken my information from the Indiana Adjutant General's report on the Civil War, looked in numerous diaries, books, and searched various sites on the internet. I've also done some research at the National Archives (not as much as I'd like to though.) Let me know if you have any ideas or could help me in any way.
