I am looking for Indiana soldiers that served in the 123rd, 129th, and 130th Ind. that may have died from disease between May 1865 and August of 1865. These regiments along with the 28th Mich.made up the 2nd Brigade of the 23rd Union Army Corps and was stationed in Western North Carolina for above said time peroid. I am looking for names of soldiers who may have died in the counties of Gaston, Cleveland, or Lincoln North Carolina. And towns of Shelby, Dallas, and Lincolnton North Carolina.
