I received an email this week from someone who said he was on the Roll of Honor and buried at the Nashville National Cemetery. I checked various websites that had info about that cemetery and none had him listed. I've been told that it's possible some of the Veterans were brought home by their families after the War.

I don't have the military records of which you speak, but I am awaiting some info of that type from Indiana Pubic Records Commission so maybe that will be the Compiled Military Service Record that you mentioned.
