I'm looking for any information available on John S. Lyle, who shows on the NPS Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System site to have been in company(ies) L G of the 6th Regiment, Indiana Volunteers, Rank in and out as a private. I would like to know if there is any information on him listed on the records that can be purchased.

I have that John was married in 1868 to Nancy Cleveland in New Albany, IN. From family records, unconfirmed as of yet, I have that the Lyle family moved from Indiana to the Knoxville, TN area following the end of the War. John would be my gggrandfather and he is where I'm stuck in my genealogy search. Thank you any one for your help.
