Most of the land that Belmont was fought on still exists as farmland. The area where the Confederate troops disembarked after crossing the Mississippi (and surrounding land) was washed away but the bulk of the battlefield is intact. Except for a postage-stamp size piece of ground that has a Missouri State Parks interpretive sign on it, the land is in private ownership and really is largely unchanged since the Civil War.
