I need some informantion on the following Illinois's units.These units were in Gen. Davidson Expedition against the Mobile and Ohio Railroad from Nov.27,1864 to Dec. 13,1864.Letters or Diaries of soldiers who made this expedition.I have some records of the units's history.The units are as follows 2nd Illinois Cavalry,12th Illinois Cavalry,and 118th Illinois mmounted Infrantry.Any informantion would be helpful I am trying to get the Chicago Battery boys through the inter Library program.
