Look up the name Albert Cashier, 95th ILL Inf., very good story on this woman. You should check out the book, They Fought Like Demons, Women in the Civil War, can't remember the author, but I have the book at home; if I remember correctly they have documentation on over 400 women who served from all states during the war.
