Iam seeking information on Elijah Jones from Saline County,IL that was in the 29th Infantry Regiment Company "E".
This was a Union Unit.
Elijah was a private.
I have some information that "Lurena Chenault" received his pension and there was a minor "Henry Jones".
I believe Elijah was born about 1837 where unknown.
One record says he enlisted in August of 1861 (Saline County)
