Sorry. I don't have anything on the 2nd. Most of my research has been on the 4th & 9th Infantry and the 1st & 3rd Batteries (the Pea Ridge regiments).

Samuel is listed on the NPS Soldier and Sailor System (Co D, 2nd Iowa). His file is on National Archive film number M541 roll 22. The records for Franklin, Henry & Marcus are also on that film. If you haven't sent for the National Archive files, I highly recommend doing so. Most of the file is made up of the muster rolls, but there's some good stuff in there - sutler bills, etc.
