Since several northern Missouri counties, including CLARK, across the state line from Lee, County (Keokuk), Iowa, were heavily secessionist, I just wondered if there were Iowa boys who joined up with the Confederate Service. Anyone know where I could find such information?

Especially interested in finding any Ballou's from Lee County who might have joined the Southern cause for Independence.
