Dear Phil,

Thank you so much for responding to my "Iowa Civil War Soldier" query - RE: JOHN GALBREATH. The problem here is - there are so many John Galbreath's from all over in this time period, plus - I know so very little about the John Galbreath I am researching. After his marriage to Nancy Ann Driver in Randolph Co., IN in 1852 - the family seem to be all over the place - in many states. Very difficu;t to trace because they are not found on any census records in their traveling years.

The only thing I really have to go on is that this John Galbreath's gravestone in Smith Center, Smith Co., Kamsas says he was born May 13, 1831 and died October 16, 1898.
I appreciate any help you can offer me on a Civil War Pension Record.

Best Regard,
Judy Mills Boie - MN
