Enlisted on 3/18/1861 as a Private.
On 3/18/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. GA 1st Volunteers Infantry
He was transferred out on 2/14/1862
On 2/14/1862 he transferred into "C" Co. GA 6th Infantry
He was discharged on 9/5/1862
On 10/7/1862 he mustered into "K" Co. GA 11th Infantry
He died of disease as POW on 5/16/1864 at Fort Delaware, DE
(Died of dropsy)
He was listed as:
* POW 5/6/1862 Wilderness, VA
Promotions:
* Sergt (As of Co. K)
(Born June 1, 1842. Buried at Marshallville, GA.)
