Andrew Jackson Dewitt, a Confederate Civil War participant, was captured in Novelty, Missouri on 28 January 1862, escaped on 25 July 1862.

Does anyone know where he would have been held captive? I can't find any Civil War records on him - just this Confederate Prisoner Record.
