We all have our favorites!! At Point Lookout, the POWs were housed in shabby tents, on the ground, exposed to extremes in temperatures (hot and cold), and the wet weather. These conditions are more similar to Andersonville than Fort Delaware where the POWs were kept in wooden barracks during the last two years of the war.
