Melissa, there is no person of that name listed in the index volume of the Naval Official Records, nor in the four volumed set titled THE U.S. MARINE CORPS IN THE CIVIL WAR. However, as Mr. Lowe indicates, that does not mean he did not serve. I don't believe that there is currently a complete roster of all the USMC personnel who served during the Civil War, although some of us are trying to correct this.
