A number of gunboats built at Memphis in 1861 and early 1862 carried 32-pounders converted to 6.4" rifles. Also, the Arkansas just wasn't that big compared to later ironclads that carried smaller number of guns but which carried the larger 6.4" Brooke rifle. So, I would also expect that the Arkansas actually carried the converted 32-pounders.
