Greetings, since NO one has mentioned this I thought I would. A number of years ago I was doing reserach on the battle for Hilton Head, Island, SC November 7, 1861. Percival Drayton as you know was with the Union Navy and in command of a ship at Hilton Head. He also had a brother named Thomas Drayton who was a General at Hilton Head for the Confederacy. So it was truly a battle of brother against brother. Thomas was born in Charleston, SC. By doing some research on Thomas Drayton you might be able to pick up some added information on Percival.
