I'm searching for Pvt John Nicholas Smith, Company F of what I believe is the Marine detachment in Mobile, Alabama. He was born in 1833, Frederick, MD and died of wounds, 6-25-1862 from the battle of Cold Harbor. Any assistance on where he is laid to rest or his service record would be apprecieated.
