Steve, this is a very interesting point. I will check it out soon, and see if I can find any reference somewhere to this. Many of my Naval volumes are still packed away, after a recent move, so I might not be able to get at those relevant to the subject, just yet.
I try to steer away from many of the Internet articles, as I have found a large number with errors and assumptions, and many of these are passed on and on through others relying on such articles without checking the original sources. In recent months I have been shocked at the amount of major statements made which I found to be totally inaccurate and some even downright falsehoods, on quite a large number of spurious web sites, and many of these are just plain assumptions.
