How very kind of you! I would love to have the transcripts or your transcriptions. I, too, have the letters to his father. I ordered copies from the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library and would never have known of them if it had not been for you. I do have the proceedings of the first court martial, which acquitted him, but I am very anxious to see how he tried to defend himself against the charge of looting nearby plantations.
