Hello all,
Does anyone know where the CSS Atlanta's final resting place is? I have heard that after the war the captured CSS Atlanta was sold to Haiti or something and while underway to that place it sank in bad weather off of Hatteras. Does anyone know the true story of what happened to her. If so, is her exact location known? Has anyone ever dived on her? You would think with today's modern technology it would be easy to find such a bulk if they knew roughly where to look.
