Gosh, Jim, who writes these "official" navy histories?

-Off Davis plantation in January 1864, she endeavored to raise Indianola, sunk in Red River in 1862-

How about "sunk in Mississippi River in 1863"? Does anybody proofread these things? And I believe that I read on the Navy Historical Center website that the DANFS people refuse to correct any errors.
