I am trying to find any information about Frederic E. Davis, a Rhode Islander who served aboard the Baron De Kalb in the Union Navy. I am planning to transcribe and annotate some of his letters and am trying to find information on his life before the war, service records, etc. Thanks for any assistance and/or leads!
