In March 21, 1864, Brigadier General W.N. Pendleton provided a report of his inspection of the various artillery battalions belonging to the Army of Tennessee. Attachment No. 4 to that inspection report was the statistical report of the battalion of artillery, of Hood's Corps, commanded by Captain Robert Cobb. Captain Cobb's report has includes a footnote that referrers to the disposition of Hart's Arkansas Battery.

a. The following batteries have been consolidated into one, with such of their equipments as was required to make the battery effective: Byrne's [Mississippi] Battery at Corinth, May 1862: Graves [Mississippi] battery, at Murfreesborough,[sic] November, 1862: fragments of Green's [Kentucky] battery, Hart's [Arkansas] battery, and Water' [Alabama] battery in January 1864.[
