On May 9, 1863, R. C. Wood reported to Brigadier General John S. Marmaduke that his “cavalry and light artillery” command consisted of 2 officers and 24 men, and that it possessed four Williams rifled guns, along with 1000 rounds of ammunition, including solid shot and canister.

I can find no evidence that these guns were ever employed in battle by Wood's command, which subsequently became the 14th Missouri Cavalry Battalion, nor I can find what happened to the guns. Does anyone have any information that you can share?
