My comment was about Ruggles' Line not the entire inventory of guns in the west. From the list of guns I sent you that were supposedly in this line (several of which you stated were not there) Stanford's Mississippi Battery had (1) three inch rifle. Jackson's Arkansas battery had (2) three inch rifles. The 5th Washington Artillery had (2) rifled six pounders. We know the rifling in these bronze tubes didn't last long compared to those in iron and didn't begin "life" as rifled guns. Byrne's kentucky Battery had seven guns total. (interesting number of guns for a battery) Just making an observation on the difference in battery structure in the west and that in the east. Sorry I bothered you with my observations.
