Thanks Ron. We know we are looking for a needle in a haystack. We are looking for a Missouri State Guard gun to be a representative of the type of guns that would have been used here. This gun is going right by the front door and will have a strong visual impact (or at least we hope so). In several surveys of the area where the MSG shells and shot were landing we found some interesting stuff and this is going to go on display with this gun, when we find it.

We have 22 guns now, but they are either rifled 6 pounders, Ames 12 lbs howitzers, Napoleons and a few other odds and ends and we would at least like to get something from a firm that was supplying the MSG so at least there is a possibility that we may have a gun that was here.

Thanks,
