I also assume that they were in New York units and this is what I found
Fred in NY 8th Inf, NY 52nd Inf., John New Jersey 1st Inf. Penn. 5th Inf Penn. 1st Inf Penn 174 Inf., Joeseph NY46th Inf and 15 NY Heavy Artillery.
Maybe if you have more info on these fellows we can find more. Try looking for NY Unit Rosters if you think they were in NY units.
