Whatever may have been his name, are you sure it was "Abraham Lincoln" Maupin? He would have been born before Lincoln burst on the antional scene, and probably even before Lincoln was elected to the one term in Congress; and even if he was born then, I can't imagine him being named for an obscure Illinois Congressman. It would be an amazing coincidence for a native born Virginian to have that combination of Christian names.
