1. For Washington University read Washington College(now Washington and Lee University).
2. Several years ago I met Mr.Robert Driver of Brownsburg,Rockbridge Co.,Va.(author of several Virginia Regimental Histories) at his home and he informed me that Creigh was hung on his property.
3. Creigh Deeds,one of the 2 nominees for Democratic governor of Va. is supposedly related to the Creigh family. Deeds admits that he has Confederate ancestors but he could care less (IMO). He wants to take the SCV logo off of vehicle license plates.
