Appears that we are talking about the same Israel Wise. He would have been 19 at enlistment time which fits soldier enlistments. Family members including wife and children match. In fact, several of the children are buried in local cemeteries here in Macomb County, Michigan.

The real question is expanded information about his military service. Some information must be available about the militia and Capt. Richard A. Whites unit. Have not been able to locate it, so the request for assistance.
