01/05/1863, headed to Helena, Ark & joined Gorman's Expedition up the White River
Detached & placed in charge of St. Charles; rest of the forces went on to Devall's Bluff; regt rejoined forces on return march
Transferred to 1st Brigade; went on the Yazoo Pass expedition; engaged against Fort Pemberton & minor expeditions the remainder of Spring
On fortification & garrison duty at Helena from 05/17/1863 to 07/04/1863
08/06/1863, transferred to Army of Arkansas; marched to Little Rock, reached 09/10/1863
11/07/1863, detached & sent to Pine Bluff for the winter
03/07/1864, 6 Co's sent on expedition to destroy pontoon bridge at Longview, over Sabine River, but were left at Mount Elba to guard a bridge
On guard & defense duty at Pine Bluff until winter; returned to Little Rock
02/22/1865, ordered to Mobile & assigned to 3rd Brigade, 3rd Division, 13th Corps
In the trenches before Spanish Fort from 03/27/1865 to 04/08/1865
Sent to McIntosh Bluff; worked on fortifications to middle of May 1865
Ordered to Texas for guard & garrison duty at Clarksville
Mustered out 08/03/1865 at Brownville
Original strength = 961
