Jan, the information on William Clark was not easy to find as he and Rebeca seemed to be estranged. We did not find any easy, well laid out connection to Andrew and James so I suspect we missed most or all of your research. I am curious if you have information regarding what the issues were in their relationship? Do you have further information on Andrew's service, and were aware that he is mentioned in"Four Years with The Iron Brigade, The Civil War Journal of William Ray, Company F, Seventh Wisconsin" though in the wrong company from I suspect a transcription error Page 47-48.
