My name is Jan and I've been trying to find out any information about my great-great grandfather, Samuel J Camp. He fought in the Civil war and died in the Civil War. He served in Wisconsin. He joined 8/29/1864, and died 10/02/1864. I'd like to know if anyone out there knows any information about him and possibly his family. I know that his widow married a man by the name of Chauncey Converse,I believe he was from the same area. Any information would be helpful.
