My g-g-g Grandfather, George Adolph Rossbach, served in company L. He was from Cross Plains WI.

info from the Nat'l Archives on George Adolph Rossbach found he was shot in the left leg in a battle in Lamar , Missouri. on November 3, 1862. He was then assigned to the hospital in Fort Scott, KS.

From his civil war diasability papers he was: 5'4", dark complexion, grey eyes, and black hair. He was a private and a surgeon. His wound was through the left tibia sustained 3 nov 1862. He enlisted 3rd wisconsin cavalry oct 15, 1861 and discharged feb 12, 1863.

He died in 1890 in Owatonna, MN.
