You may want to locate the book "Memoirs of a Dutch Mudsill" which was published in 2004. This is the memoirs of J.H. Otto of the Wis. 21st regiment who was an officer in co.D of the 21st at that time. It may have some details of the battle you seek info on. May have some accounts of the battle from a participants view.
