bayonet scabbards

I am trying to find out the proper bayonet scabbard that would have been used by the 21st Wis. Reg.. In late 1862 the regiment most likely had Austrian Lorenz muskets (Battle of Perryville)and after battle at Stones River where issued Enfields. I know this pertains to company D and may not pertain to entire regiment. There is a picture of company D on Lookout Mountain in 1864 which shows some of the men with bayonet in scabbards being worn. At this time they supposedly had Enfiels. This picture is on the Wisconsin State Historical Society web site. Unfortunetaly I am not expert enough to tell what type of scabbard is used. (picture was not the clearest) Does anyone have any input or know if there was records kept on arms issued etc?
