Hi
I believe that the William Hamley listed in the 41st WI Infantry, Co B to possibly be my great great grandfather William Henry Hamley. The 41st was a 100 Day Regiment that served long enough to tangle with Forrest in Memphis in August, 1864. If anyone has anymore info on this regiment or William Hamley I would be interested.
