My GG Grandfather Hans C. Heg commanded this regiment until his death at Chickamauga. My father and I would be very interested if someone could produce a photograph of Albert Skofstad, Hans Heg's first cousin and commander of Company D of the 15th Wisconsin from April 1862 until March 1864.
