I had 2 family member that belonged to the 3rd. Wis Cav. A Great great Uncel Mark C. Groom and My Great great Grand Father George Groom. Mark Was a Corp.and buglar. He was wounded at Pea Ridge and Died in a Hostpital in Kansas. And George contacted the disentry in the 1st. year of service and was musterd out and sent home in 1863
