Johnny Cook

I am a Civil War author (To Make Men Free; A Novel of the Battle of Antietam) and I have been asked to appear on a History Channel documentary and am doing some additional research on the soldiers they want me to talk about. One of these "men" is Johnny Cook, the bugel boy for Battery B of the 4th US Artillery who won the Medal of Honor for valor when he assisted General Gibbon manning a gun at the Cornfield.

I know he was commended again at Gettysburg, but nothing beyond that. Can any of you Black Hatters help me out here? I'd love to know what he did after Gettysburg!
