Good evening ladies,

I obtained from my late Mom's estate several dozen fashion plates from Godey's that had been collected by girls in her family from the 1830s up through the Civil War.

I would like to photograph a few of these fashion plates and post them. I find them interesting, not only from a fashion standpoint, but from an anatomical perspective, which is often extremely weird.

Any interest in seeing this stuff? If you like Jane Austen, you will probably like this stuff.

Fashion plates...wonder if that's where the term came from.
